35mm Slides To Digital
need to scan 35 mm slides to jpg so as to project them as a “slide” in a laptop/projector now DIGITAL way
My software allows me to set the pixels of height and pixels of
length. To keep it slightly rectangle like a 35mm slide and fill the screen ( all text) How do I know what pixel amounts to set and whats “keep aspect ratio “mean?
35mm photography ratio is/was 3:2 ( for a standard film 24 frames / roll. There was few camera …in ’70s able to do 36 frames on the same roll using a different ratio.)
now…if you scan a frames for digital presentation …just doesn’t matter how many pixels X/Y or the ratio…Important is to scan/capture to full frame at a good enough resolution. Keep in mind that the display resolution is 72 dpi …but for a good quality scanned frame you will need around 4800 dpi.
