Can I ask for money back for home improvements in my offer?
I want to put an offer down on a property, but it needs about $20,000 worth of work. Can I request in the offer to get money back at the close of escrow to make these improvements? If not, what are my options?
I live in Southern California if that makes a difference.

I would suggest either request some repairs be made or offer a lower amount for the property.
