Rare Vhs Tapes
Thrift store charges $3.00 per VHS movie. Is that overpriced?
My local rip off thrift store, run by old ladies who are senile has now marked the VHS movie tapes up to $3.00 each. These are not rare movies, but titles such as Independence Day and Jurassic Park. I think this is highway robbery. VHS is obsolete and is no longer being made. So why the high price? Alot of those movies have been there for 6 months or more. Majority of people get dvds, unless it is a hard to find movie that is only on VHS. What do you think? How much should VHS be worth?
One of the downsides of thrift stores is that pricing is usually left up to the employees. And not to completely stereotype old ladies, but they tend to be the worst! $3 for a USED mass market VHS tape is INSANE! They probably don’t realize how dated this technology is.
I think $1/tape is fair.
